When a volunteer cannot make an assigned position and you have sub requests turned on in the schedule preferences, an email will go out to all other participants in that opportunity, letting them know:
- the name of the volunteer requesting the sub
- the date and time of the shift
- the job
- a "volunteer now" link
- a link to the full schedule
By clicking the "volunteer now" link from either the email or the schedule page, the new volunteer will be placed at that time in place of the person who requested the sub. Both volunteers and any admins who have BCCs turned will receive a notification email that the new volunteer has been placed in that position. Any volunteer who tries to volunteer after all positions have been filled will be notified that "The positions you signed up for are no longer available."
